Mobile & Web Apps

Some Example Apps and Websites

We have produced a large variety of fantastic apps and websites for our clients, but most of them are used internally and not publicly released, so they’re hard to show off!

We do however have a small selection of apps and useful websites built for community or public use, or sometimes just for our own amusement, that you are welcome to browse.

While not as sophisticated or powerful as our business applications, we hope you find them of interest and use.

iOS and Android App Development for Business

We produce apps using everything from content management based systems that you can update yourself to fully bespoke native apps. Whatever your requirements, we can help. All our apps are developed in-house, in our Milton Keynes office, so you have full control and visibility of the development process.

Max Performance

We choose the best technology for the job; some allow for faster development for simpler tasks, or we can work natively if the required functionality demands it.

If you need an iOS or Android app developed, we can help. Please contact us to talk to us about it; advice is free!

Cross-Platform Apps (React Native)

We use React Native to build high-quality mobile apps that feel 95% like a native app. By writing code once that deploys to both iOS and Android, we save you significant development time and cost without sacrificing user experience.

Features:
  • Single Codebase: Faster to build and easier to maintain.
  • Native Performance: runs at 60fps.
  • Access to Device Features: Camera, GPS, Bluetooth, etc.
  • Hot Reloading: Quicker iterations during development.

Speed to Implement Fast
Cost Effectiveness Excellent
Flexibility High
Performance Near Native

Fully Native Apps (Swift & Kotlin)

For projects demanding maximum performance or complex hardware integration, we build purely native applications using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android. This is the gold standard for high-end mobile experiences.

The Gold Standard for:
  • Max Performance: No middleware, just raw speed.
  • Complex Hardware: Deep integration with sensors and AR.
  • Latest Features: Instant access to new OS capabilities.

Speed to Implement Months
Cost Effectiveness Premium
Flexibility Unlimited
Performance Best (100%)

Why We Avoid "Low-Code" & AI Builders

You may see tools (like Base44, Lovable, or generic AI builders) promising apps from text prompts. While interesting for prototypes, we do not use them for client deliverables.

  • App Store Compatibility: Most of these tools generate web-wrappers, not native binaries. Apple and Google frequently reject these during the review process for not being "truly native."
  • The Complexity Gap: Automated tools fail when you need specific business logic, secure API handling, or hardware integration.
  • IP Ownership: We believe you should own your code. Low-code platforms often lock you into proprietary ecosystems. We deliver clean, standard React Native or Swift/Kotlin code that belongs to you.
